Family Fun Day on First Sundays is a free community outreach program designed for families to participate in hands-on workshops at the museums and main library in downtown Riverside.
Founded approximately ten years ago, this award-winning community event has successfully provided a wide range of art-making activities, performances, and programs for thousands of children and families in Riverside. Programs run seven months a year from October to May on the first Sunday of each month from 1 to 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Mission Inn Museum, Riverside Public Library, Riverside Art Museum, Riverside Metropolitan Museum, UCR Sweeney Art Gallery and UCR/California Museum of Photography.
